An L.a. man has been arrested for allegedly stealing $20 to $30,000 in decorative garden wall decorations from a woman’s yard in her home, authorities said.
On Tuesday, Los Angeles Police Department detectives executed a search warrant at the woman’s home in the city’s Westwood neighborhood, where officers found the man’s car and found several garden decorations worth $30 to $40,000, according to a news release from the department.
The man was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property, grand theft, grand larceny and possession of a controlled substance.
He was released on $50,000 bail, the release stated.
The garden decorations were taken in August and the owner of the home is expected to make a payment of $1,200 per year to the city, according the news release.
