“I don’t think people will be able to walk to the grocery store with their children, or walk to work with their family, or go out to dinner without some kind of outdoor seating,” said Linda Farrar, president of the Garden & Garden Center in Portland, Oregon.

“But I do think it will be easier to walk or cycle to school, because you can be on the go and you can do all of your activities indoors.”

Farrars said that while she and her husband are not currently planning to use their indoor garden for anything but outdoor dining, they are encouraged by the potential for the indoor gardening community to create more outdoor seating in the future.

“The best part about it is we don’t have to think about where we’re going to eat,” Farrs said.

“We can eat our favorite food in the garden, we can eat out of a box or we can just have it in the house.

Farrarth, a retired educator who has been involved in garden programs for nearly 30 years, said that although it is easy to forget that there are still so many people living in the rural areas and other areas of the country that lack the resources and awareness to stay safe, the public can still have an impact.

“If you want to know why people are choosing to be outdoors, just ask them, ‘Why do you want me to be here?’,” she said.

The Garden & & Garden center’s program has been a great success.

The center was one of the first gardens to get involved with the CDC and is currently hosting more than 50 people each week.

“This is going to be a long process,” Fargar said.
